Interview with Astrid Blute, Nestlé Health Science Nordics by colleague Meg Marquardt, at ESPEN 2018.
From ESPEN 2018, Madrid September 1-4 September.
MB: So it’s Meg Blogg here with Astrid who’s working in the Nordics in the marketing team. And she’s spent a couple of days here, she hasn’t been to the meeting for a couple of years now, I think, is that right, Astrid?
AB: That’s correct, yeah.
MB: And what’s been your impression so far on day two, Sunday?
AB: Sunday has been a tremendous day. Of course, the heat in Madrid but also filled with a lot of great talks, connections with people throughout the world with not just Europe but we have met also Saudi Arabia here, and Hong Kong and Japan and we have been sharing experiences.
MB: And so, it’s been really international. And what would you like to take away from this meeting, both you personally and perhaps also for your customers?
AB: That we stand before a great paradigm shift within the ICU care as for nutrition and the targeted nutrition but also the knowledge of overfeeding and the possibility of preventing that by using new formulas that are available in the market.
MB: So it’s a really good forum for your customers to hear new information from other thought leaders?
AB: That is correct Meg.
MB: Thanks very much, Astrid.
